  • No. Donations are welcome, but never required. The Exchange operates on a pay-what-you-can model. You’re welcome to browse and contribute in a way that feels sustainable for you.

  • There are no fixed prices. Take what you’ll use and contribute what you’re able. Some give more. Some give less. It balances over time and helps keep materials accessible to everyone.

  • No. We are a community-supported project and not a registered nonprofit. We are unable to provide tax documentation for donations.

  • No. Donations are accepted during scheduled drop-off times or by appointment. If you have a large donation, please contact us in advance with photos and an approximate quantity so we can prepare. Email us at tinydocenthen@gmail.com.

  • Items should be clean, usable, and safe. Paint should not be dried or moldy. Liquids must be sealed and labeled. Sharp tools should be wrapped. We reserve the right to decline items that don’t meet safety or usability standards.

  • Because we are a working artist studio environment, children must be supervised at all times. Some materials and tools may not be suitable for young visitors.

  • Hen’s Art Supply Exchange operates within JuxtaHub at 375 S 10th St, Emmaus, PA on the second floor. Visits are by appointment Tuesday through Friday, and during select public events.

  • No. Materials remain within the Exchange to support artists, students, and educators. The goal is circulation, not resale outside the community.
