Field Report: Aquatic Operations & Slide Testing.

A Tiny Docent Dispatch

Yesterday I was called into the field.

Again—not officially.
But when there is infrastructure, fish, and a body of water, someone has to step in.

I arrived at Furnace Dam Pond to supervise the installation of an aerator and the introduction of new aquatic residents. The pond, known for its populations of largemouth bass, bluegill, and pumpkinseed, is a respected site within the local fishing community.

Initial observations:
water: present
fish: accounted for
aerator: doing important bubbling work

The water rescue team was on site (with a boat, which I feel deserves emphasis).

Independent Testing Division

During the visit, I encountered a slide.

I want to be clear—this was not part of my assignment.

However, in the interest of public safety and thorough documentation, I conducted a full test.

Results:
descent: successful
technique: evolving
dignity: mostly intact

Further testing may be required.

Soirée Status Update

Following field operations, I returned for final preparations.

The suit fitting has been completed.
The look is… composed.

Full reveal pending.

Conclusion

The pond is operational.
The fish are adjusting.
The slide has been evaluated.

I remain on call for future assignments.

or snacks.
